The new feature has been introduced to help dental nurses keep their CPD records organised and accessible, alongside the insurance and policy information they already access through the portal.
The General Dental Council stipulates that dental nurses undertake 10 hours of CPD over a two-year period, with a requirement to make a CPD statement every year by the end of August. For dental nurses, keeping an accurate record of ongoing learning and development is an important part of maintaining professional standards. The new CPD Log provides a central place to record CPD activities, making it easier for clients to keep track of their learning throughout the year.

The new CPD Log is now available to eligible dental nurse clients through Trafalgar Risk Managements, My Trafalgar online portal.
